How to become a secret agent in The Sims 4

The Sims 4 offers the exciting career path of the secret agent, thrusting your Sim into the midst of high-stakes espionage. You’ll need to keep your wits about you and your socials skills sharp if you’re going to keep up with the demands of your job, and you’ll be rewarded with simoleons and unique items along the way.

To begin your career as a secret agent, access the career menu through a computer, laptop, or your Sim cellphone. The entry-level position is an agency clerk, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and a pay rate of 17 Simoleons per hour.

While the pay is low and the hours are long, your sim will earn simoleons for completing daily tasks and can access new actions tied to their performance. You’ll also need to own a computer, which is essential for completing daily tasks.

How to complete daily tasks in The Sims 4

A typical day in the Secret Agent career requires your Sim to complete three daily tasks, which can include browsing intelligence and socializing with other Sims. Friendly interactions, romance interactions, and mischief interactions count towards completing daily tasks.

If you neglect daily tasks, your Sim’s performance will suffer and could potentially lead to being demoted. To avoid this outcome, make sure to complete daily tasks and focus on your Sim’s career performance.

Promotions in The Sims 4 Secret Agent career

The Secret Agent career has ten levels in the Diamond Agent branch and 11 levels in the Villain branch. Promotion tasks in the Diamond Agent branch involve leveling up Logic and Charisma skills, while Villain branch Sims must focus on those same skills to fulfill their nefarious ambitions.

Simoleons earned from the Secret Agent career are yours to keep, even if you decide to leave the profession. They can come in handy if your Sim acquires expensive objects like the best computer for Sims 4 or the top laptops for gaming, but your Sim’s career path is worth far more than the riches you earn.

Simoleons aren’t the only rewards you have access to as you progress through the Secret Agent career. Each promotion comes with special rewards, like furniture and Simoleon bonuses.
