All-Star Brawl 2: Missing Characters in the Roster
All-Star Brawl 2 could be missing some characters, as the fighting Game sequel was officially announced by Ludosity and Fair Play Labs. While the reveal trailer and screenshots showed off some new characters like Squidward, Jimmy Neutron, Donatello, and Raphael, there’s no guarantee that the full Brawlhalla roster will be in the game. Unlike Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which brought back all characters for its sequel, All-Star Brawl 2 may not do the same.
We know that some characters are definitely returning for All-Star Brawl 2, but the possibility of more being left out is worrying fans. Fair Play Labs studio director Diego Rodriguez hinted at the exclusion, saying “we had some very difficult decisions to make during the game’s design process.”
So far, fans have compiled a list of characters absent from the reveal trailer and screenshots, which includes Leonardo, Lincoln, Powered Toast Man, Helga, Sandy, Toph, Hugh, Oblina, and Shredder. While Leonardo, Lincoln, and Powered Toast Man have evidence of returning, the others lack confirmation.
While some of the characters seem like no-brainers, the absence of these characters seems puzzling. While they may not be as popular as the likes of Spike or Bridget, they don’t seem to have any reason to be removed from the game.
When asked, the developer urges fans to wait for further details, teasing that the final roster will be revealed soon. We’ll be sure to update this guide when the final roster is officially announced.
For now, we can only speculate about the uncertainty surrounding the roster. The fan-favorite characters like Hugh are certainly causing a stir among the gaming community.
