Sentinels drops Keon from roster ahead of ALGS LCQ

Sentinels, one of the top Apex Legends teams and a competitor in the 2023 Championship, has made a roster change by dropping Keon ahead of the North American ALGS Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) as the team looks to improve its chances in the upcoming tournament. The decision comes just before the ALGS LCQ, which will determine which teams will advance to the Championship. Sentinels will now have to find a replacement for Keon to maintain their competitive edge as one of the top Apex Legends teams.

“We’re excited to announce that we will be making a roster change ahead of the ALGS Last Chance Qualifier,” the team’s management says. “Unfortunately, this means that Keon will no longer be a part of the Sentinels Apex Legends team moving forward.”

The ALGS LCQ is crucial for teams looking to secure their spot in the Championship as it serves as the final North American qualifier.

“This decision signifies our commitment to improving our chances in the upcoming tournament,” the team adds. “Although we were happy with our results in the 2022 Championship, we know that we need to bring our A game to ensure that we make it out of the LCQ and onto the main stage at the 2023 Championship.”

Sentinels’ roster change showcases the competitive nature of the Apex Legends esports scene as the team looks to improve its chances in the ALGS LCQ and the Championship. The team is known for its strong performances and, after an impressive showing in the 2022 Championship, will be eager to maintain its reputation. We’ll have to wait and see who the team adds and how it impacts the team’s gameplay ahead of the big event. The ALGS LCQ is set to take place on May 12 and 13. Featured image via Sentinels.
