Apex Legends players discover a 'pay-to-lose' bug that affects in-game visibility

Apex Legends players are currently reporting a new Bug in the FPS game that heavily impacts the visibility of Horizon’s latest skin in Apex Legends. The bug reportedly impacts the visibility of the character in-game, putting players at a potential disadvantage as they make their way around the map. Although the bug is minor and unlikely to directly impact combat, it certainly seems flawed enough to warrant a fix from Respawn Entertainment.

This latest Apex Legends bug comes just as the developer prepares to launch Season 17 in the free PC game. This recurring bug seems to affect Horizon’s new skin in particular, with players reporting visibility issues across different platforms.

“Hey @Respawn this new ‘glow’ bug on Horizon’s new skin is complete game-breaking,” one Apex Legends player tweeted. “Not even kidding, we had to pause every time Horizon ‘spawned’ because we couldn’t see her on the map or in the lobby. So frustrating.”

“This Horizon skin visibility bug cannot be serious,” another fan added. “Has anyone else encountered this before? Horizon is literally impossible to see in the game. I definitely know where I stand on the Horizon skin now!”

It’s unclear exactly how widespread this issue is, but it has certainly gained attention within the Apex Legends community. If players are planning to pick up Horizon’s latest skin, they should exercise caution in their matches – just in case.
