Valorant star ScreaM contemplating a CS2 comeback?

The Valorant star, ScreaM, is left reeling by KCorp’s CS2 LCQ elimination, leaving him with a lot of thinking to do. He's not afraid to admit that a move to CS1 for the upcoming G4L isn’t a given.

“Honestly, I’m really disappointed with our season,” ScreaM admits in a video published following KCorp’s 5-1 loss to Vitality. “I wanted to be a part of the best team and show everyone that I’m capable of bringing a lot to the table.”

“Maybe I’ll take a break, maybe I won’t,” he continues. “I don’t know what I’m going to do. After this tournament, I’m going to sit back and think about it because I don’t want to play if I’m not enjoying it.”

ScreaM’s comments on KCorp’s season have already sparked wild speculation that the veteran is eyeing a return to Counter-Strike, although he has been extremely impressive in Valorant and we’d love to see him stick it out for the rest of the year.

“I’ve seen a lot of people saying that I’m done with Call of Duty,” ScreaM says. “I’m not done with Call of Duty, but this loss really hurt my feelings because I really wanted to play this game for a long time.”

Whatever ScreaM does, it’s safe to say that his talent and experience will ensure he has a significant impact on the competitive scene, regardless of whether that’s in CoD20 or Counter-Strike.

ScreaM’s future is anything but certain, but we’ve got the best FPS games on PC if you’re looking for a competitive scene of your own.
