The fish farm is a special area in the restaurant that lets you grow your own ingredients, allowing you to serve a unique dish made from Moray Eel to Otto. After you’ve done so, a VIP named Michael Bang arrives at the restaurant. Bancho suggests a dish for Michael Bang, but you’ll need to obtain White Rice to make it. Luckily, this can be grown in the vegetable farm, which is opened by Otto the day after Michael Bang’s arrival. How to Unlock the Dave The Diver Fish Farm
To unlock the Dave The Diver fish farm, you’ll need to serve a unique dish to Otto using a certain ingredient. The dish requires Moray Eel, but Otto won’t accept it unless the fish farm is unlocked.
Once the fish farm is unlocked, a VIP named Michael Bang will arrive at the restaurant. Bancho suggests a dish for Michael Bang, but you’ll need to obtain White Rice to make it.
How to Grow Rice in Dave The Diver
To obtain White Rice, you’ll first need to grow it in the vegetable farm. Otto will open this on the day after Michael Bang arrives, so you’ll need to obtain the ingredients for his dish first.
Once Otto opens the farm, he’ll plant rice in a pool on the left side, which you’ll notice contains several weed appearances. These will be updated on the FarmNow app on your cellphone, even if they occur in the middle of the day.
You’ll need to ensure there are no weeds in the rice field, as they prevent the rice from growing. Weeds appear as small green circles that can be removed by tapping on them. They’ll reappear after a set amount of time, so ensure that you remove them as soon as possible.
Rice crops take around three days to grow and can yield two or more White Rice each. The amount you receive depends on the Nutrition value in the pool.
You can unlock Otto’s Market, where you can purchase various items to use in the rice field. These include Sprinklers, which automatically water the rice, and Miracle Grow, which increases the Nutrition value in the pool.
Otto will automatically replant the rice after half a day, so you don’t need to worry about this. Just ensure you remove the withered rice crops from the field as soon as possible.
