Disney Lorcana's Enchanted Cards Revealed
If you’re a fan of Disney’s Lorcana, you’re about to be extremely happy. The Gamer has revealed a secret sixth rarity for the fantasy trading card game, and it’s called Enchanted. In addition to being the first-ever card rarity in Lorcana, Enchanted cards are alternate art versions of regular cards with a unique inkwash foil treatment. They’re so rare, in fact, that they won’t even be included in starter decks.
Disney Lorcana’s Enchanted cards were previously seen on D23 Expo 2022 promo cards, but it wasn’t clear if they’d ever see the light of day. Now, however, you can go to Gen Con to get one for yourself.
If you’re one of the lucky few attending the convention from August 1 to 4, you can participate in the #EnchantedSeeker content. All you have to do is search for Enchanted cards, and if you find one that isn’t already in the public catalogue, you get to keep it.
In addition to the card, however, the person who discovers it gets an invite to a special event at Gen Con. According to the official rules, this “may include the opportunity to meet a Disney character, participate in a photo opportunity, or attend an exclusive presentation or panel.”
Several Enchanted cards have already been discovered, including Aurora, Elsa, Mickey Mouse, Hades, Simba, Tinker Bell, Maui, and Aladdin. There are still plenty more to come, so keep an eye out if you’re attending the convention.
If you’re not, however, you can still follow along on the official #EnchantedSeeker Twitter account. For more on Lorcana, be sure to check out our review of the first set, Carnaval.
