Big Tink in Disney Lorcana
As the set’s most anticipated card, Big Tink has garnered plenty of attention, and it’s not entirely without reason. While Disney Lorcana’s Tinker Bell isn’t playable just yet, the impressive Card Art has people eager to use her in the future. But Big Tink is far from the only card to catch our attention in the latest set.
Disney animated movie series and the Sorcerer’s Apprentice set
As the Disney animated movie series draws to a close, so does the meta for the game’s most popular – and only – playable character, Mickey Mouse. With the Sorcerer’s Sorcerer almost ready to take the stage, we’ve been given a taste of what’s to come in the Sorcerer’s Apprentice set. But as we eagerly await the opportunity to play with the first Sorcerer, we’ve been given plenty to consider in the set before it.
First Chapter of Disney Lorcana card art
Disney Lorcana’s First Chapter is full of creativity and storytelling. The set’s cards capture the imagination, and Big Tink is just one of many cards that stand out.
Tinker Bell makes quite the entrance in her Floodborn cards. Representing the first of the set’s alternate reality cards, Dreamborn, Storyborn, and Floodborn are all unique takes on the character. Dreamborn is the standard version, Storyborn represents a character’s origin, and Floodborn represents a character in a completely alternate reality.
Big Tink, Giant Fairy is one of the stand-out Floodborn cards. Big Tink towers over the ocean, dwarfing the pirate ship in the card’s background. Her immense size and fierce expression spark curiosity and excitement. What is this tiny fairy capable of? What is she up to? These questions are what make card art so special – and Big Tink’s art in particular – so effective.
Other First Chapter cards with exciting art include Merlin, the Dreamborn card depicting the well-known wizard in a rather unusual state. Merlin’s card art shows him shirtless and in his underwear, a refreshing change from the typical depiction of the character. Merlin’s card art also features a particularly large frog, adding to the card’s charm.
Belle’s Storyborn card is also rather charming, as it shows the Beauty and the Beast protagonist walking in the woods with a suspicious fox in tow. The card’s portrayal raises questions about the fox’s role in Belle’s story, and what about Belle herself makes the fox so interested. These are the questions that make the card so appealing.
Other cards embrace their role in the storytelling. Lumiere’s card art is a poignant scene from Beauty and the Beast, and it’s a memorable scene that is made even better by the quality of the art.
The card art throughout the set is nothing short of impressive. It’s not just Big Tink that captures the imagination. The creativity of Merlin, the storytelling of Belle, and the unique reimagining of Tink all add to the appeal of the game. Big Tink’s art stands out because it can evoke a range of emotions. It’s not just the card’s uniqueness that makes it so appealing, it’s the ability to make a player feel something.
And that’s exactly the point of the game’s cards. The passionate reimagination of a classic character is exactly what makes the card special. We’ve all been charmed by the small, fierce fairy. And that’s why Big Tink has become such an anticipated card in Disney Lorcana.
