Hawked: A Unique Extraction Shooter

Hawked, the new FPS by My.Games, is holding its Open Beta right now. In this Extraction Shooter, you play as part of the GRAIL group, infiltrating an island to steal powerful artifacts from its inhabitants. With run-and-gun action, puzzles, traps, and PvP encounters with other players vying for the same treasures, Hawked is certainly a different shooter from the likes of Counter-Strike, Rainbow Six Siege, and Warface.

If you like your shooters a little bit different, then Hawked might be for you. Unlike similar games, dying in Hawked doesn’t result in losing all your gear, and killing isn’t the main objective. Instead, Hawked focuses on puzzle-solving and collecting treasure. There are some PvP encounters, but they’re few and far between, and can be avoided if you wish. So if you’re looking for a shooter that’s more like a relaxing puzzle game, Hawked might be for you.

Open Hawked Beta Date

The Hawked open beta runs until August 17.

If you want to join in the fun, simply download the game on Steam. Currently, the download is 10GB, so make sure you’ve got enough space.

The full launch date for Hawked is yet to be announced.

Hawked Beta Rewards

Hawked’s beta gives players the opportunity to earn 20 exclusive cosmetic rewards. These can be obtained through the game’s battle pass, which is available to anyone who plays the beta.

Additional in-game items can be obtained through Twitch Drops by watching official content creators. Signing up for the Hawked mailing list also rewards players with a stylish hat.

That’s all you need to know about Hawked’s open beta. If you’re looking for something a bit different, why not try some of the best indie games currently on offer? We also have the latest Rainbow Six Siege patch notes, so you can keep up with the latest changes to your favourite FPS game.
