Marvel's Spider-Man 2
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is facing backlash from fans, as the new game has made a significant alteration to some characters’ facial features that is dividing opinion. In the latest trailer for Spider-Man 2, we see the webslinger battling the villain Killer Frost, but fans are expressing their division over major facial changes in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 characters.
“Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 looks great and all, but what the hell happened to Electro and Rhino’s faces?” one fan comments. “I’m so conflicted by this. I love the game and I’m hyped to play it but this is so jarring.” They continue, “I don’t want to call them ugly, but Electro and Rhino look very different.”
“I’m with you on this,” another replies. “Rhino looks pretty much the same other than the scar, but Electro’s face looks so different. I don’t know whether to be concerned or not.”
“I’m not even mad, I’m just concerned,” another replies. Another adds, “They look more cartoonish than usual.”
Others are more positive, saying, “I’m actually not bothered. I think it’s more of a stylistic choice than anything.”
“I’m not really bothered by it,” another says. “I can see why people are concerned though, Electro’s face is a lot different.”
There’s no doubt that the upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is facing some criticism from fans over this, and it’s unclear whether the alterations are just a stylistic choice or a sign of more to come.
