Marvel's Spider-Man 2 trailer offers up new looks for Miles Morales and Mary Jane
as the Spider-Man universe continues to expand. Miles has a fancy new hairdo, but his suit remains similar, while Mary Jane has both a new haircut and her iconic red dress.The time gap between Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2 is around nine months, so it makes sense that Miles would have a new look for the game. His suit remains largely the same, with a few new flourishes. It looks like Miles has had a haircut that makes him look a little more like his father Jefferson, but the biggest change is he seems to have swapped his Spider-Man belt for a sash.
Mary Jane meanwhile, has gone for a more formal look, with her hair going past her shoulders. It’s a big change from the shorter hair she had in Spider-Man: Miles Morales, but it makes sense with the time that’s passed. Mary Jane and Peter Parker are now a married couple in the game, and have become a well-oiled machine in crime fighting.
The trailer also teases the return of Mr. Negative, hints at new villains like Kraven and Lizard, and shows Venom in motion for the first time in-game, along with a tease that Wraith may also be included in the game.

When Spider-Man 2 launches in October, Peter and Miles will face formidable challenges. The last time we saw Mr. Negative, he was sacrificing himself to save New York, so it will be interesting to see how he comes back from that.
