At one point, the overall NFT market appeared to be slowing down, with sellers struggling to find buyers willing to meet sky-high asking prices. A number of the top NFT sales are pieces of CryptoPunks, a game in which digital art assets are created and traded by players. Beeple’s Crossroad sold for $6.6 million, while CryptoPunk #7804 went for $7.6 million. However, other NFTs are not game assets, and instead represent unique digital art pieces, songs, and other forms of art.
Here are the top 10 most expensive NFTs sold, along with their sale prices:
CryptoPunk #3100 also sold for $7.67 million, with a price of $7,670,000. CryptoPunk #4156 sold for $10.26 million, with a price of $10,260,000.
CryptoPunk #7523 sold for $11.75 million, with a price of $11,750,000. CryptoPunk #5822 sold for $23.7 million, with a price of $23,700,000.
Beeple’s HUMAN ONE reached $28.985 million, with a price of $28,985,000.
Clock, a piece of digital art by artist Dominik Schiener, sold for $52.7 million, with a price of $52,700,000.
Everydays: the First 5000 Days sold for $69.3 million, with a price of $69,300,000.
Topping the list is Pak’s ‘The Merge,’ which sold for $91.8 million.
Several of these works are CryptoPunks. While the overall NFT market has slowed down, it appears that these top-selling pieces continue to fetch astronomical prices.
