Super Mario RPG Remake Available for Pre-Order
The Super Mario RPG remake is now available to pre-order, with Nintendo announcing a concrete release date ahead of the nostalgic adventure’s arrival later this year. The RPG game was announced alongside other exciting Mario-related news during a recent Nintendo Direct, and now you can secure your copy ahead of the Super Mario RPG release date.
If you’re a fan of the original Super Mario RPG – a departure from the traditional side-scrolling Mario games but still one of the best Mario games of all time – then you’ll no doubt be delighted to hear that a remake is in the works. It’s exclusive to the Nintendo Switch platform, and you can pre-order it now.
Super Mario RPG Release Date
Super Mario RPG launches on November 17, 2023. The game’s release date was announced alongside other news during a recent Nintendo Direct, alongside the announcement of Super Mario Wonder just before the RPG remake.
While Luigi didn’t appear in the original Super Mario RPG, it’s uncertain whether the never-before-seen brother of Mario will appear in the remake. The game’s creator, however, expressed a preference for the original game without Luigi, and it’s uncertain whether a potential sequel would include the green-hatted brother.
With Super Mario Wonder just before the RPG remake, Mario fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming months. Nintendo Switch owners have a busy end of the year with a long list of highly anticipated games coming out.
