You’ve come to the right place. Some of the best Nintendo Switch games offer lengthy single-player campaigns in an age where most blockbusters drop with a multiplayer mode tacked on. In fact, some titles on this list are ports of games that originally came out on the Xbox 360.

We’ve picked out the very best games with the longest stories and campaigns on Nintendo Switch that you can expect to last you at least 50 hours, and likely much longer.

The Longest Nintendo Switch Single-Player Games

While many of the games on this list are handheld titles, Persona 3 Portable is a bit of a special case. It’s a handheld title, but the sheer scale of its story means it sneaks onto the list. If you want to save the world from evil with your new friends from the Japanese equivalent of high school, then you’ll spend 65 hours getting there. As a life simulation game, Cozy Grove sees you building a shop and making friends with the locals in this adorable game. While the game itself is short, reaching the ending takes an incredible 67.5 hours.

We’ve already mentioned Persona 4 Golden above, but we can’t not include it on this list. It is, after all, one of the best JRPGs of all time, and the Switch port is as good as you could hope for. If you’ve not played it before, it’s an RPG game about changing the hearts of evil people, and it lasts 68.5 hours.

My Time At Portia is a workshop-building game that sees you restoring the town of Portia after an apocalyptic event. While it’s not the longest game in terms of overall story, it does take you 69 hours to complete.
