The Sonic Realmz Switch Controller
The Sonic Realmz Switch controller from PDP contains a collectible figurine from the classic Sega game inside, and you can pre-order both models right now. Released at Gamescom, the controllers feature figurines of both Sonic and Tails, with the former available to pre-order now.
There are two options available, with the first being the obvious choice being the Green Hill Zone controller. This model features a Sonic figurine in the left grip, and will arrive with a Sonic figurine inside the controller.
The second controller is the Tails version, which comes with a figurine of the flying fox inside, along with a Crabmeat image on the right analog stick. Both controllers cost $40 and are available to pre-order now with a December release date.
While PDP hasn’t revealed any other Realmz designs yet, it does mention that the Sonic Realmz Knuckles controller will be part of the collection in the future. However, you won’t be able to pre-order it just yet, so keep an eye on PDP’s website for that one.
PDP also has Realmz versions of the Pikmin and Transformers games on the way. The Pikmin Realmz controller will have a red Pikmin figure inside, along with a leafy green design on the back. You can expect to pre-order this winter.
Meanwhile, the Optimus Prime Realmz controller is also set to arrive some time this fall, but we haven’t heard anything about a pre-order date just yet. No images of that one just yet, but we’ll update this guide when PDP reveals the Transformers controller in greater detail.
