The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Coliseum Rewards
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom features a ton of weapons and armor. Many are found in caves and hideaways around Hyrule, but a specific set only appears after fighting through Tears of the Kingdom's coliseums. Here are all the coliseum rewards and how to improve your chances against the formidable foes found within.
Where to Find the Tears of the Kingdom Coliseum Collectibles
You can access the Coliseum Ruins by heading to the northwest edge of the Great Plateau. From the Scablands fast travel location, head west to find nearby cliffs. Drop down to reach the coliseum.
In the first coliseum, you face a Thunder Gleeok. To make the fight easier, equip a multi-shot bow and work to get protection from electric damage. Be careful not to be hit by thunder, as it can deal significant damage.
After defeating the Thunder Gleeok, solve a puzzle using the crates to access a treasure room. Grab all the goodies within and head out the north door. Look on the right side to spot a small ridge you can climb, which leads to a door granting easy access to the Trousers of Awakening.
The secret door you just unlocked leads to a nifty feature: Completing the Coliseum Ruins allows you to unlock co-op statues at any location. This is your chance to bring in both Utsuho and Mizu on your hunts if you have neglected any treasure map statues.
To reach the Floating Coliseum, head back to the Annankala Fast Travel Statue and warp to the lower southern section of the Depths. Take the stairs on the south side up to a wooden platform. Turn left and walk up the path to find a tree stump you can use to warp to the top. The Floating Coliseum is right at the top.
Taking on a Lynel for your first coliseum fight is no easy feat. Increase your odds by bringing attack-increasing meals or summoning Sage companions. It also helps to upgrade your armor for better defense.
Climb up to the north to locate the Desert Coliseum, which can be found in the lower left corner of the Depths. These Horriblins like to fly and attack from a distance, creating a barrier between you and them. Use a long weapon, like the spears you can make in the Blast Furnace, to attack them while they're airborne.
To reach the Lone Island Coliseum, head far east until you hit the coast. Head north, then take the path heading east again. You'll pass by the small Eventide Island, and eventually, the path will turn south. You'll find the Coliseum shortly after. The Lone Island Coliseum is simple, with only Bokoblins to fight.
If you're having trouble with the Scorching Coliseum, it's likely because you don't have any Flame Guard armor or protection elixirs. The Scorching Coliseum is in the northwestern section of the Depths. Fight against Moblins when you have the Zant's Helmet reward available. The Zant's Helmet makes you unfreezable, so you won't be at a disadvantage due to the cold environment.
This coliseum is a bit of a maze but mostly has Lizalfos as enemies. The two Lizalfos on the platform ahead are element-based. Use arrows fused with the opposite element to easily destroy them. Other than that, it's not too difficult.
To reach the Forest Coliseum, backtrack all the way to the northwest section of the Depths.
