Becoming a vampire in The Sims 4: Vampires offers more than just immortality and the ability to avoid sunlight. As you progress through the ranks of the vampire life state, you’ll unlock more powers and weaknesses to help define your Sim’s type. Each of the five vampire ranks has four progression levels that provide power points for unique vampiric powers like transforming into a bat or commanding other Sims.
Each rank also has several powers and weaknesses to choose from, and you must take a weakness upon reaching the next rank. While you can choose powers and weaknesses from all ranks up to your current rank, five pairs of powers and weaknesses conflict with each other, locking out one option when you choose the other.
