How to use The Sims 4 vacuum cleaner
Once you’ve got a vacuum in your home, you can start cleaning dust. To start cleaning dust in any room, select an object that has dust on it, or head to the floor and select “Vacuum” or “Vacuum to Perfection.”
You don’t have to clean all the dust in a room at once, but don’t forget to regularly check and empty your vacuum’s storage to maintain its effectiveness. If you’re using the handheld vacuum, you have the option to select “Vacuum” or “Feed Dust,” so you can befriend the cute bunny-shaped creatures that appear when dust has been left unvacuumed for at least eight hours.
Different vacuums are available for adult and child Sims, so whether you want to clean the floor or your favourite toy, you can use the vacuum to make it happen. Sims can also clean dust by hand, but it’s a lot slower than using a vacuum.
Dust Bunnies are cute, but they’re also a sign that you’re not maintaining your vacuum. These little creatures will appear when dust has been left unvacuumed for at least eight hours. You can name, befriend, and even feed Dust Bunnies by vacuuming regular dust and selecting “Feed Dust.”
If you’re off grid and building a new home in The Sims 4, you might be wondering if you can clean dust at all. Luckily, The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle introduced a few items that help reduce dust in the home, which can be powered by sustainable power sources from The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle expansion.
The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle includes items such as air purifiers and water purifiers, but you can also install wind turbines or solar panels to produce power. Once you have these items installed in locations with enough wind or sunlight, you can purchase the vacuum and follow the same cleaning process outlined above.
Now you know how to clean dust in The Sims 4, you can keep your Sims happy and healthy while reducing the amount of dust in your Sims’ house.
