Introduction

The Dragon Fruit is a highly valuable plant in The Sims 4, known for its rarity and worth. With the right gardening skills, seeds, fertilizers, and time, you can cultivate your own Dragon Fruit plant and enjoy its benefits.

Obtaining a Dragon Fruit Plant

Previously, Dragon Fruit plants could be found at San Myshuno festivals. However, they have become extremely rare, making it necessary to grow your own. To acquire a Dragon Fruit plant, you must reach a high level in the Gardening skill and be willing to invest in rare seed packets.

Growing a Dragon Fruit Plant

To begin growing a Dragon Fruit plant, you need to reach level five in the Gardening skill. This can be achieved by planting and tending to basic seeds, finding harvestables in different worlds, or creating a Community Garden in Evergreen Harbor. Improving your gardening skill through actions like talking to plants and fertilizing them will also help you progress.

Once you have reached level five, you can begin cutting and grafting plants, which is essential for creating a Dragon Fruit plant.

Creating a Dragon Fruit Plant

To create a Dragon Fruit plant, you will need:

  • A Snapdragon plant
  • A Strawberry plant

Both of these plants can be obtained through seed packets. Snapdragons can be found in Seasonal Spring Plants and Seasonal Fall Plants seed packets, as well as growing wild in specific Willow Creek neighborhoods. Strawberries can be found in Seasonal Spring Plants and Farmer Flowers and Fruit seed packets, and also as wild plants in specific Willow Creek neighborhoods.

Grafting the Snapdragon onto the Strawberry, or vice versa, is necessary as the seeds only grow one of these plants. Grafting Snapdragon to Strawberry results in faster plant growth but with lower-value secondary crops. On the other hand, grafting Strawberry to Snapdragon leads to slower plant growth but with higher-value secondary crops.

While rare seed packets are an option, grafting is usually a quicker and more cost-effective method. Additionally, you can grow the plants under cover in any season by surrounding them with walls and a roof.

Grafting Plants

Grafting plants in The Sims 4 is a straightforward process, but it's important to know a few details beforehand. Firstly, you must be at the grafting table to perform the grafting. You can find the table in the gardening section of the build menu.

Once you are at the grafting table, take a cutting from the Snapdragon and graft it onto the Strawberry, or vice versa.

Now you have all the information you need to successfully grow and graft a Dragon Fruit plant. Stay ahead in The Sims 4 by unlocking the valuable and magical Cow Berry through this rewarding gardening endeavor.
