How to Romance the Grim Reaper
The easiest way to summon the Reaper is by sacrificing a Sim. This immediate attracts his presence, and he will appear from a cloud of smoke to whisk the deceased Sim away into the afterlife.
There are various ways for a Sim to meet their demise, such as drowning, electrocution, or starvation. Regardless of the technique, the Grim Reaper will appear once the Sim is dead. However, his visits are brief, so it’s important to interact with him before he disappears.
The first step towards a romantic relationship with the Grim Reaper is establishing a friendship. After turning the deceased Sim into an urn or tombstone, engage the Grim Reaper in pleasant conversation to build friendship.
During the conversation, the Grim Reaper may vanish, but sacrificing another Sim will make him reappear. You can also communicate with the Grim Reaper through your Sim’s phone and computer.
Befriending the Grim Reaper will unlock the ‘Hello, Darkness, My Old Chum’ achievement. Once your Sim has established a friendship, romantic conversation options like flirting become available.
Persistence and determination are key to winning the Grim Reaper’s affection. As the Romance meter fills, the Grim Reaper will be more open to spending quality time with your Sim. However, marrying the Grim Reaper is impossible without cheats.
To add the Grim Reaper to your Sim’s family, enable cheats by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + C and enter “testingcheats on.” Then, hover your cursor over the Grim Reaper, shift click, and select the option to add him to your Sim’s family.
