The cursed specter of The Sims 4: Realm of Magic is one of the most terrifying moments you can encounter in the magic and witchcraft-filled Game pack. Known as the Night Wraith, this terrifying specter appears out of nowhere, causing havoc and chaos among Sims in the Sim universe. While The Sims 4 normally offers a peaceful gameplay experience, a night in one of the add-ons is filled with madness and mayhem, as you attempt to uncover the origin and purpose of the curse.
The Sims 4 is a diverse offering with many different ways to enjoy the game. From creating Sims, taking on jobs and careers, indulging in hobbies and pastimes, decorating homes and neighborhoods, and socializing and interacting with others, the potential for varied gameplay is massive. The Sims 4: Realm of Magic reintroduces witches and wizards into the game, giving players the chance to enchant objects and brew their own potions, cast spells, ride on their very own broomsticks, and so much more.
How do I summon the Night Wraith in The Sims 4?
Sims under the wrong circumstances can summon the Night Wraith, though little is known about where their spectral origins come from or why they specifically target Spellcasters.
When a Spellcaster is struck with the Curse of the Night Wraith, you can see the effects on their social panel. While the Sim remains cursed, their energy will constantly drop, making them constantly exhausted and drowsy.
If you happen to notice your Sim starting to become cursed, don’t try and interact with this menacing spectre, as it is absolutely indestructible. The wraith haunts the afflicted Sim day and night, and there is only one way to lift the curse.
Sims can be affected through failed spells, potion mishaps, or losing a duel against an occult foe. A Spellcaster can acquire this chaos-inducing curse under the traits of Evil, Mean, and Dastardly, and has a terrible reputation of Atrocious.
How do I get rid of the Night Wraith in The Sims 4?
There are multiple ways to lift the curse depending on the preferred method of your Sim, including brewing a Potion of Curse Cleansing or casting the spell Decursify. There are also various ingredients you can gather, depending on your skill in Botany, and the Night Wraith can only be summoned by Sims who have these negative traits. You can access your Sim’s traits by pressing CTRL + .

Now your Sim won’t have to worry about being haunted by this terrifying creature at night. However, as mentioned above, if you can’t get your hands on any potions or spells, you can use the cheat traits.remove_trait trait_Curses_NightStalker.
