The Sims 4 Blooming Rooms plants

Looking for The Sims 4 Blooming Rooms plants and their quirky potting? The Blooming Rooms Kit brings some fresh and fun items to the game, offering unique trees and plants for you to cultivate and arrange in your home. From small bonsai versions of desert rose plants, like plumeria or frangipani (more commonly known as the zanzibar), in vibrant colors to the zany all the rage plant cage, there’s something here for plant enthusiasts of all kinds.

If you love plants and greenery, you’ll be delighted to learn that The Sims 4 Seasons expansion made them an important part of life in your sims’ worlds. Rainy days can leave a puddle that can harm plants, while an unseasonably warm day can help your garden grow in record time. This is further enhanced with the Blooming Rooms plant collection and some cool planters and wall racks.

These plants offer fun, vibrant new colors or patterns not currently available in any base-game plants. They’re also accompanied by some snazzy potting and planters so you can display them to their best effect.

These plants are especially small versions of desert rose plants, with the frangipani or plumeria (or zanzibar) being the most recognized name. They make a perfect addition to any bedroom or bathroom due to their pleasant, light, and tropical scent. If you don’t take care of these plants, they’ll wither fairly quickly, so make sure your sim is aware of their needs.

The in-game Zanzibar gem is a low-maintenance indoor plant. Unfortunately, it cannot be used in a traditional pot and will instead lean against most surfaces. Nevertheless, this gem will cleanse the air in your sim’s room and add one environment point every day. The plant also grows very slowly and can only be purchased in another matching bundle, forcing you to spend quite a bit on something your sim may not enjoy.

Known for attracting money in feng shui, the Jade Plant adds a cute little dash of Orange to any room, creating the perfect space for creative types. The leaves of these plants often overlap, giving each individual stem an interesting and unique shape.

Supposedly, these violet plants keep annoying bugs away from your crops to keep your garden flourishing. A great companion for your avid botanist or plant hobbyist.

Not to be confused with the ficus, known for improving a sim’s mental distress, the therapeutic ficus is fairly similar but perfect for anyone looking to help their sims with their physical needs instead.

The Triostar Stromanthe is the floral equivalent of a mood ring, with leaves that cling to a central pole and change patterns with your sim’s emotions. There are varying shades of green, plain and speckled, so you can pick and choose which emotions you want prominent in your plant.

Was there ever a more threatening plant? If a piece of this relative of the philodendron gets loose in your household, your sim will slowly starve to death with an infected mouth- and throat area. But it looks so pretty… Let’s just hope none of those leaves fall off.

From wooden wall racks for un-branching pothos plants to towering racks for larger ferns, there are many unique plants available, though not all have unique interactions with your sims.
