How to Start a Fire in The Sims 4
Want to know how to start a fire in The Sims 4? Of course you do. It’s a hot topic! With the Sims’ potential to catch alight and spread to nearby objects, you can add a lot of chaos to your Sims’ lives. From poor Cooking skills to flammable objects, there are plenty of ways to ignite some fiery fun. From child Sims playing with a starter set to adult Sims leaping from balconies, here are the best ways to set things ablaze.
First things first
Create a Sim with poor Cooking skills. Then, attempt to cook a meal on a cheap stove. Place flammable objects, like posters and paintings, nearby to increase the chances of a fire breaking out. Fireplaces can also be a hazard, so install one in build mode and surround it with highly flammable furniture and decorations.
To start a fire
Command a Sim to light the fireplace and repeatedly select the ‘warm self’ option until flames leap from the logs. You can also do this to children and toddlers, but bear in mind that they are fireproof.
Whimsical approach
Give a child Sim the ‘Junior Wizard Starter Set’ and let them play away to their heart’s content. Not only does this toy come with its own spell book and rabbit companion, but child and toddler Sims are also fireproof, so you don’t have to worry about their safety. Keep an eye on adult Sims, though – they can become engulfed in flames during the child’s experiments.
That’s how to start a fire in The Sims 4. Watch your Sims run around in fear and cower from the flames – if they don’t burn to death, that is. Indulge your inner mischief-maker and watch the chaos unfold.
