Two Point Campus Steam Sale and Free Weekend
Two Point Campus is celebrating its first birthday with a big Steam sale and a Free weekend, letting you get in on the fun even if you haven’t played the SimCity-inspired city management game before. Starting now and going until July 31, you can play Two Point Campus for free on Steam, and if you enjoy it over the long weekend, the game is also on sale at a big discount until August 11.
In a blog post, developer Two Point Studios says that the goal of the free weekend and Steam sale is to make players “fall in love” with the game over the long weekend, then get the rest of the Two Point Campus experience at the lowest price it’s ever been.
If you’re on PC, you can play Two Point Campus for free this weekend and get the game at a 50% off discount until August 11. The game is normally $29.99, so even if you don’t play the game for a while, this is the lowest price it’s ever been and likely won’t go any lower for a while.
Unfortunately, the free weekend and 50% off discounts are only available on PC, but if you end up getting the game and want the PlayStation or Xbox versions, you can get the 50% off there as well. If you’re on Xbox, you can get the discount until August 7, while if you’re on PlayStation, you can get it from August 2 to August 16.
If you’re a Game Pass subscriber, you won’t have access to Two Point Campus after July 31, but the developer says that “your existing save will be safely transferred over for you to continue on Steam” so you won’t lose any of your progress.
If you want even more Two Point Campus, you can also get the Brainy Bundle, which includes the base game and all DLC, for 50% off on Steam as well. In other words, you can get the game and all the additional content for less than the usual price of the base game alone, so it’s a great way to celebrate a year with Two Point Campus.
