During Gamescom, LG has revealed three new Gaming Monitors that will be added to its UltraGear lineup. These include the LG UltraGear GR83Q-B (27-inch), and the LG UltraGear GR93U-B (27-inch and 32-inch). All of these models are already available for pre-order and will arrive sometime in the future.

If you’re interested in these gaming monitors and want to learn more about the specs, I’ve included a table that provides a comparison of these features.

From what I can tell, these monitors seem like they’ll appeal to gamers who are interested in having a more premium experience without spending too much money. I’m not a fan of the 27-inch size myself, but other people may prefer it to larger displays.

Many of these specs are the same as the LG UltraGear 34UW95R that I reviewed last year, with the exception of the refresh rate and pixel count. I’m actually surprised that the pixel density and HDR support aren’t higher considering the fact that they are new models.

In any case, if you’re interested in buying any of these gaming monitors, you can currently get 30% off on LG.com with free shipping. LG is also running a gaming monitor giveaway on its website, so you can potentially win any of these models if you take the time to enter.

If these monitors do turn out to be solid, then I could see them being recommended for best budget 4K or computer monitors in 2023, especially since you can get them for a discount during the Gamescom period.

But of course, a proper review is necessary before I can say anything definitive. I just love getting people excited about new hardware, especially if it’s affordable.

Ultimately, LG’s UltraGear lineup aims to cater to the mass market rather than providing extraordinary features. Nevertheless, I encourage you to stay updated on the latest developments in the gaming monitor industry, as there are always new things to learn.
