LOUD suffers defeat in first Valorant Champions match
The opening day of Valorant Champions has seen LOUD, the EU LCS team that signed the VCT All-Star roster, suffer its first defeat in the Riot esports competition as VCT star aspas appears to have been ruled “not healthy” following a loss to DRX.
The loss to DRX, who are competing in the EU region of the Valorant Champions tournament, means that aspas has been ruled “not healthy” by Riot officials and thus cannot play for LOUD moving forward.

“Aspas was very excited to be competing in Valorant Champions,” Doncic says, “and we are disappointed that he will not be able to continue competing.”
Aspas was reportedly “not healthy” even before the match against DRX, according to LOUD, but the team elected to play him in the hopes that he could be healed by a Riot official before the game. That did not come to pass, however, and DRX took the win to put an end to aspas’ Valorant Champions journey.
