“The hunger to win is always the drive behind any successful team, and this is no different,” Kaplan shares. “Whenever you taste victory, it only makes you want more, and that’s exactly what we are all striving for now.”

Despite setbacks in the 2024 VCT qualification stage, Kaplan remains determined to come back stronger and lead the Sentinels to victory. “Even when we were knocked out of the qualifiers, everyone on the team was still hungry and determined to prove themselves.”

Sentinels’ impressive performance in the VCT has solidified the team’s position as a top-tier Valorant team. The Sentinels’ roster is brimming with potential and hungry for victory, but it takes more than individual skill to achieve success in esports.

“Teamwork and adaptability are key to staying ahead of the competition,” Kaplan says. “It’s important to continuously improve and learn from your past mistakes, but it’s even more important to have the mental fortitude to do so.”

The Sentinels’ resilience and dedication have played a crucial role in the team’s rise to prominence in the Valorant community. Kaplan highlights the importance of mental strength in maintaining a competitive edge, describing the team’s ability to bounce back from defeat as “a show of strength.”

“Our dominance in the VCT has garnered a lot of respect and admiration from fans and competitors alike,” Kaplan says. “However, there has been a lot of talk about us being the ‘underdogs’ and ‘dark horses’ – it’s definitely nice to have people talking about you and gives you a bit of extra motivation.”

Kaplan expresses gratitude for the support the team has received throughout their journey in the Valorant Community Tournament. “I think we have proven ourselves to be more than just ‘underdogs’ and ‘dark horses’,” Kaplan says. “We have shown that we are a strong team in all aspects of the game and our strategic approach has definitely played a big part in our success.”
