While the treasure hunt aspect of these chests is appealing, the gameplay benefits are even better. Armored Core 6 lets you find these chests in the midst of a mission, so you can grab them and head straight back into the Action. However, if you miss your chance, you’ll have to wait until the next mission to grab the chest. Thankfully, you can replay any mission at any time to search for these elusive chests.

Armored Core 6’s Scan ability is a crucial tool for finding these hidden chests. You can enhance this ability by equipping head parts with a high Scan Distance stat. We recommend assembling a scouting-focused mech with a high Scan Distance head part and a booster with increased thrust. This will allow you to cover more ground quickly and scan for these chests effectively.

Here are all the hidden chest locations in Armored Core 6:

• After clearing the mission “Infiltrate Grid 086,” head back to the interior section. There are four chests to find throughout this area. The first is in the same room as the mission start, but you will have to head to the right side of the corridor to find the rest.
• The last big open area has a chest near the top of the hill, as well as one in the second building at the base of the hill.
• There are two chests in the long vertical cavern in “Underground Exploration – Depth 2.” The first is on the ground floor, while the second is higher up the cavern wall, near a couple of drones.
• This one is tricky, because the chest is in plain sight, but you can’t reach it without an upgraded jump or flight ability. The mission “Reach the Coral Convergence” takes place across a large lake, guarded by dangerous giant wheel enemies. If you’re lucky, you may be able to grab the chest before the wheel enemies notice you. However, if you’re not quick enough, you’ll need to take the enemies down with explosive damage. Thankfully, there’s a resupply point nearby if you’re running low on ammunition.
