A stunning Eileen the Crow painting by an artist is bringing users together on Reddit, as the community marvels at the work and expresses their appreciation for it. Some users even speculate that the artist is a fan of Kentaro Miura, a renowned artist who has done work for Dark Souls and Bloodborne – but that’s simply conjecture.

Whatever the artist’s inspirations may be, there’s no doubting their talent and the unique acrylic style they use. Others express admiration for the painting’s similarity to Bloodborne and the way it captures the atmosphere of the game.

“This is honestly one of the most gorgeous artworks I’ve seen in a while,” one user writes. “I love the style and composition, and the use of acrylics gives it a really nice, tactile look.”

“I love how the artist captures the atmosphere of Bloodborne,” another adds. “The purple, blue, and pink colours are reminiscent of the sky and sunset, and the stream of water in the background looks like the River of Blood.”

“I love how it’s actually a Fan Art of a great game,” one user comments, referring to Kentaro Miura’s work on Dark Souls and Bloodborne, which Eileen the Crow is a fan of. “And it’s not just in the style, but also the subject.”

“I love how she’s saying a hooter must hoont,” another adds, and there are a few laughs over that.

There are plenty of simple comments like “Looks great” and “I love it,” but there are also some people sharing their own experiences with the game and other weapons they’ve used.

“I miss being able to filter fan art and cosplay in the third-party apps,” one user writes, which is a nice bit of transparency from the community, albeit with a wry comment about the nature of the artwork on the platform.

“I don’t know who or what that is, but it does look really intriguing,” another user writes. It doesn’t matter if you know or don’t know who Eileen the Crow is – art is subjective, and this is definitely something you should check out.
