The Triplicate Space is a hidden, optional area that answers some questions and raises more riddles. To access the Triplicate Space, you need the Triangle Key, which you get in Broken Tooth. Once you have it, you can unlock the final section and solve the game’s weirdest puzzles. Here’s everything you need to know about catching the Capuceetle Bugsnak in Bugsnax.

How to catch the Capuceetle in Bugsnax

To catch the Capuceetle, you need to get it hit by another Bugsnak without startling it. If it gets scared, it will leave the area and go to a different area in the game.

There is a brazier switch in front of the locked door in the same room as the Pielobite. Light it up using the Trip Shot to unlock the door.

Follow this path of braziers from the camp at the start of Broken Tooth to unlock the door:

Once you unlock the door, you can access the Triplicate Space. Inside, you receive a letter with a clue about the space’s location – Grumpbeard.

The entrance to the Triplicate Space is in Boiling Bay. Behind the mast of a half-a-shipwreck, you can climb up to the area above the glowing blue door.

The Triplicate Space

The Triplicate Space is a bonus area with its own puzzles and tape recorders that provide backstory and information about the world. Notably, one tape recorder in the cathedral talks about the secret to Catchy’s name. There are also some fun riddles, like the one involving flipping the direction of grumpus statues.

Once you interact with the blue button on the pillar, you can unlock the final section.

There’s another puzzle in the Triplicate Space that involves the room with rotating statues. You can rotate the statues to change the direction of a pendulum. The puzzle is meant to affect the direction of the Bugsnak in the room across from the puzzle.

After pressing all three buttons, a path opens to the Snakolyte break room, where you can find the Capuceetle Bugsnak and a final tape recorder.

Catching the Capuceetle is no easy task, considering it’s quick, evasive, and skittish. Good luck with that! Once you catch it, another one should spawn in the Triplicate Space break room.
