Counter-Strike 2 Update Introduces Ranked Leaderboards
Counter-Strike 2 hints at upcoming ranked leaderboards with its latest update, as the Valve FPS game takes the next step towards introducing competitive ranking in the Beta version. After the Counter-Strike 2 Beta update, players can now anticipate ranked leaderboards when the free PC game launches later this year.
The Counter-Strike 2 Beta update includes a small but significant tease at the arrival of ranked leaderboards, which will add a more structured and competitive element to the Valve FPS game.
As Valve explains in its latest Counter-Strike 2 update post, the August 2 update adds a “preview of the upcoming competitive ranking system” to the game. Players can now track their progress in competitive matches by viewing the new ‘Ranks’ tab in their profile.
While there are no actual ranks awarded for now, Counter-Strike 2 players can anticipate that the arrival of ranked leaderboards will elevate the competitive gameplay of the popular Valve game even further.
