If you run out of oxygen during a boss fight, you can simply press the restart button to get unlimited restarts. However, in regular dives, you can only restart once and keep one item. If this happens to you, make sure that you don’t use your best items in the menu until you manage to get back to the restaurant.
At the end of each shift, you’ll see a stats screen showing your top-selling dish and the amount of gold it earned. This is particularly helpful as it helps you make profitable decisions. However, be aware that your oxygen tank and stamina are inversely related, which means that you’ll be slower and more encumbered the more exhausted you are.
There are two types of fish: those that can be harpooned directly and those that leave a body to be cut for meat pieces. The quality of meat varies based on stars, and specific methods like using the Net Gun or Tranquilizing larger fish yield higher-quality meat.
However, it’s not just underwater that you need to pay attention to your oxygen. If you try to use a door without having enough oxygen, you’ll be prompted to use some. Thankfully, you can check your oxygen level before using a door by pressing the button on the controller.
Events can randomly appear, requiring you to collect specific fish and serve dishes from them on a designated day. It’s important not to use these dishes in the menu before the event to ensure you have enough for the event. For example, during a Tuna Party, you need high-quality Tuna meat, which is scarce and limited to three three-star Tuna per run.
In addition to fish, you can also find items underwater, such as Bluefin Tuna Sashimi and Beluga Caviar. These items can be used in specific recipes and yield a high amount of gold if sold.
