A GTA: San Andreas CJ mod invades Armored Core 6

A GTA: San Andreas CJ mod has already appeared in Armored Core 6, as the meme continues to infiltrate all corners of the world, and I for one am glad to see it. This is just one of countless instances of CJ appearing in games over the years as a sort of running gag, and I’m happy to see it continue in Armored Core 6.

The mod, created by Dropoff and TKGP, transforms CJ into a mecha, although it’s not yet available on popular modding sites. “We’re still working on the joints,” Dropoff writes, “so he’s not available as a full model yet.” It’s funny to see CJ’s weirdly stretched-out limbs and twisted body represented in this way, and I’m sure TKGP will work out the kinks.

Dropoff is known for creating CJ mods, and has also incorporated Shrek into other games as well. Armored Core 6 itself has received positive reviews from PC Game Spotlight, with myself giving it an 87% rating and describing it as a triumphant return to mechs for FromSoftware.

Bandai Namco is also optimistic about Armored Core 6’s future, as reported by PC Game Spotlight sister site GamesIndustry. “We have a lot of expectations for the game,” Namco executive vice president Shin Unoh tells GamesIndustry. “We’re going to do our best to keep the momentum going and grow that audience.”

I’m sure this CJ mod will help with that, as I’m sure it’ll be shared far and wide, and we’ll see more of the gangster turned mech in the future. In the midst of all this, I also discovered that CJ can also be played in Street Fighter 6, which is a much more wholesome alternative to nude mods, I guess.

I’m the one writing this and I’m very embarrassed.
