Hitman's Agent 47: The Mystery of his Low Weight
Agent 47 weighs only 47. At least, that’s what we’re told by a user who shares a screenshot of the Hitman’s weight in Hitman 2. The lean Hitman protagonist weighs less than half of what the average American man does, and just a hair more than a three-year-old child.
Some users get nostalgic and reminisce about Agent 47’s appearances in past Hitman games, while others joke about his diet, suggesting he must eat rotten flesh to survive or is a “lean, clean, killing machine.”
However, one user points out that the Hitman in-game scale only registers the weight from one foot, leading to an inaccurate reading. Another user argues that 47 kilograms would actually be a healthy weight for a man of 47’s age.
But the most popular theory by far is that Agent 47 is genetically engineered, which explains his low bone density and – the theory I find most compelling – 0% body fat. “He’s a lean, clean, killing machine,” one user writes, “which means 0% body fat.” Another user writes, “What if 47 has 0% body fat?” to which another replies, “I don’t think that’s possible.”
There are so many jokes in the comments, I can’t even keep track of them. Another user writes, “I have the same scale as the one in the OP.” One user asks, “Where is this mansion?” to which another replies, “The one with the box fans blowing away from it.”
Another user jokingly writes, “47 weighs 47 stones.” “47 weighs 47 kilos,” another user writes, “which is 47 stones.” Just in case you forgot what 47 stones actually weigh, a user replies, “47 stones is heavier than the heaviest sumo wrestler.”
Some users debate whether the scale measurement is in pounds or kilos, although a user writes, “I think it’s in kilos. I’m a scientist.” Others express surprise at how light 47 kilos is. “Everyone in the game universe must be short in stature,” one user writes.
Another user shares, “I’ve been playing the original Hitman for 20 years and I’m still discovering new details in it.” A user replies, “And he has an escape mechanism where he flies away.” Another adds, “If you have a fish, he can escape via a dolphin.”
