Sneaky stealth games on sale in Steam's Stealth Fest

Stealth Games are cheap in Steam’s stealth fest, as the storefront offers up sneaky titles for dirt cheap and free Splinter Cell stickers. The Valve-run store says “sneaky like a cat,” but I’d say that’s a bit of a stretch. Maybe “sneaky like a mouse.” I’d say “sneaky like a bug,” but that’s probably a little too on the nose. Regardless, whether you like your stealth loud or soft, Valve has a sale for you.

Steam’s stealth fest is live now, and it runs until July 31. As you might expect, some of the best deals are on stealth-centric games, but it includes titles that don’t quite fit the genre.

First up are the stealthy games, and there’s a few good deals in this category. The reboot of the Good Thief games is $3 ($1), Splinter Cell games are on sale, and there’s a bundle of all the Splinter Cell games for $70 ($30).

Other sneaky games receiving discounts are Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, and the Splinter Cell games on Uplay. The newer titles like Outlast, Heat Signature, Aragami, and Mark of the Ninja Remastered are also a little cheaper.

Stealth Bastard: Tactical Espionage Arsehole is marked down to $1, which is a good deal for one of the best roguelikes out there.

There are some less stealthy games on sale as well, as Steam’s stealth fest is a bit all over the place. Far Cry 6, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Rainbow Six Siege, and the Arkham games are all featured.

There are definitely opportunities for a bit of stealth in the Metro games and the Deus Ex games, and I think it’s kind of funny that they don’t fit the bill. I’m not sure where I’d even draw the line, but I’m grateful to see some really good games in this sale like Shadow Warrior and Red Faction Guerrilla, regardless of how much stealth they have.
