Mortal Kombat Armageddon Liu Kang
Mortal Kombat’s Liu Kang is the one warrior who can save Earth Realm from the clutches of Shao Kahn. Following Mortal Kombat Armageddon, the retconned fighting game sees Raiden’s visions become a reality when he creates an altered timeline to revive slain characters, and freshen up the series.
Mortal Kombat Armageddon Liu Kang death
Before his demise, Liu Kang fights Raiden, as the thunder god attempts to alter the timeline by preventing Liu Kang from travelling to Earth Realm. Raiden cracks his amulet, which creates a rift in time and space, and allows Shang Tsung and Quan Chi to kill Liu Kang in the original timeline – the same Raiden Liu Kang fighting in the present.
Mortal Kombat Armageddon Liu Kang ally
Despite dying in the original timeline, in the altered timeline, Liu Kang survives and aligns with Shinnok, invading Earth Realm. He confronts Raiden, who is now stronger after gaining his powers back. Liu Kang is banished as he confronts Raiden, and is on the run with Kitana.
Mortal Kombat Armageddon Kronika
Kronika, the Keeper of Time, revives warriors to rewrite time. She recruits Liu Kang, who returns to the battlefield with an army of past warriors, including Goro and Kintaro. Eventually, Liu Kang from the past allies with Raiden to fight the older Revenant versions.
Mortal Kombat Armageddon Liu Kang powers
Liu Kang gains power by absorbing his younger self’s soul. Raiden merges with Revenant Liu Kang, and the soul enters the past Liu Kang’s body. Fire God Liu Kang, now more powerful than ever, challenges Kronika to take control of time.
Mortal Kombat Armageddon Liu Kang Cetreon
Liu Kang defeats Cetreon, the last Elder God, and battles Kronika in the Prehistoric Age. Liu Kang shatters Kronika’s body, including her crown, and wins the battle.
Mortal Kombat Armageddon Liu Kang ending
With Kronika defeated, Raiden separates from Liu Kang, losing his powers and god status. Liu Kang, however, is reborn as the Elder God of Fire.
