The Pikmin franchise
The Pikmin franchise is one of Nintendo’s most unique series, taking players on a sci-fi adventure through a macro perspective. You control a brave explorer who leads a group of plant-animal hybrid creatures called Pikmin. There are different species of Pikmin, each with their own exclusive skills and abilities. The Pikmin games are filled with obstacles that require strategic use of the different species to overcome.

Here is a list of all the Pikmin species in the games:

Yellow Pikmin
Yellow Pikmin can reach high ledges, resist electricity, handle bomb rocks, and are faster diggers than other Pikmin. Their fur is yellow, and they are the second type of Pikmin you encounter in the game.
Blue Pikmin
Blue Pikmin can swim, making them essential for accessing water-based areas in the game. They can also disarm electrical barriers, lift and carry objects underwater, and can damage enemies that are submerged. Their fur is blue, and they are the third type of Pikmin you encounter in the game.
White Pikmin
White Pikmin are rare, with white fur. They move and attack quickly, and can find hidden treasure. They are also poisonous to enemies. These Pikmin were not available in the original Pikmin, but appeared in Pikmin 2 and Pikmin 3.
