Naraka: Bladepoint Goes Free-to-Play on PS5

After achieving an impressive milestone of 20 million players, Naraka: Bladepoint is now opening its doors to everyone, offering players the chance to dive into the action-packed world without any cost. Starting from July 13, gamers can easily download Naraka: Bladepoint on their PlayStation 5 consoles and experience the intense battles for free. With the introduction of a new hero, mode, weapon, and rewards, Naraka: Bladepoint is currently trending and is set to captivate even more players with its exhilarating gameplay mechanics.

Naraka: Bladepoint takes place on the captivating Morus Isle, where 60 players engage in a fierce battle until only one emerges as the victor. Players have the option to play solo or in trios, with a total of nine unique characters to choose from. Each character is equipped with two abilities, an F skill, and an Ultimate.

Similar to other Battle Royale games, the play area gradually shrinks as time progresses, forcing players into intense close-quarter combat. Furthermore, thrilling events can occur during the match, adding an extra layer of excitement.

New players who join Naraka: Bladepoint when it becomes free-to-play will have immediate access to all in-game weapons, maps, and modes. However, a few restrictions apply to free players—they will not be able to rank until reaching level 50, and lobby chat will be inaccessible until level 20. Previously, paid players encountered these restrictions at level 20 and level 5, respectively.

Free players will also have the opportunity to play as four captivating heroes: Viper, Tianhai, Zipin Yin, and Matari. To unlock additional heroes, players can earn Hero Coins by actively participating in the game. It only takes 100 Hero Coins to unlock one hero, and players can earn up to 35 Hero Coins per week. However, there are no limits on Hero Coin earnings for standard, deluxe, or ultimate players.

Moreover, players who have already purchased Naraka: Bladepoint will receive Gold based on their game version:

  • Paid players will also receive exclusive rewards, including an avatar, Viper Ning outfit, and ten Glory Chest Choice Gifts. These bonuses are available to players who purchase the game before July 13 as well.

PlayStation 5 players will not require a PS Plus subscription to play Naraka: Bladepoint online. However, those with a PS Plus subscription will receive a special bundle of items and an exclusive cosmetic item, which may vary based on the current season.

The PS5 version of Naraka: Bladepoint supports cross-platform compatibility, allowing players to team up with friends on Xbox and PC. However, please note that account transfers between platforms are not supported, meaning that switching consoles will require starting from scratch.

To celebrate the launch on PS5, the transition to free-to-play, and the remarkable achievement of 20 million players, Naraka: Bladepoint is introducing a new mode called Capture The Spirit Well, a new hero named Tessa, a new Dual Halberd weapon, and various veteran rewards.

Additionally, PS5 players will have exclusive access to in-game items and cosmetics.

With all these exciting updates, Naraka: Bladepoint is currently trending and is set to captivate even more players with its intense battles and unique gameplay mechanics.
