Tekken 7 brought the Devil Within transformation to Jin Kazama, the main protagonist of the series. Tekken 8 will reportedly focus on Jin, with full control over his Devil transformation. Kazuya Mishima, the former protagonist-turned-villain, is back as a menacing threat. Claudio, the exorcist, will likely continue his demon-hunting ways. The beloved assassin, Nina Williams, is back with a new look and dual-wielding guns. Paul Phoenix, known for his aggressive attacks, provides comic relief. Law, Paul’s partner, is back with his quick movements and nunchaku skills. King, the master of grappling, is back and ready to take on opponents. The secret Mishima family member, Lars, returns with fast movement and lightning strikes. Jack, the bodybuilder robot, brings powerful blows and a laser cannon to the tournament. Jun Kazama, presumed dead, returns as a surprise addition to the roster. Xiaoyu, Jin’s bestie, returns with her ferocious and beautiful fighting style. Leroy, a recent addition to the series, joins the default roster with his cane and dog Sugar. Asuka, once a fill-in for Jun, now has her own unique moves and rivalry with Lili. Lili, the preppy student turned fighter, returns with her agile movement and powerful kicks. Hwoarang, a classic character and Jin’s rival, returns with a more mature demeanor. Brian Fury, the cyborg harbinger of chaos, brings his aggressive strikes and trademark punch.
