Mortal Kombat 1 introduces Geras

Mortal Kombat 1 introduces Geras in its newest trailer, the time wizard who made his debut in Mortal Kombat 11. Geras is the keeper of the hourglass of time, and he’ll be bringing back his Temporal Advantage ability to freeze opponents in time so you can deliver powerful blows. Alongside time-themed attacks, Geras also utilizes sand-related moves, including a bone-crushing fatality.

Geras was previously teased in one of the Mortal Kombat 1 trailers, but now we’re getting a closer look at his moveset and story. Actor JK Simmons will reprise his role as Omni-Man from the previous game, and will also be bringing Geras to life.

Other guest stars in the upcoming Fighting Game include Homelander from The Boys and Peacemaker from The Suicide Squad. The Kombat Pack DLC brings back a number of Mortal Kombat characters, including Ermac, Quan Chi, Shang Tsung, and Takeda.

Mortal Kombat 1 release date
