Mortal Kombat's Reptile: Fans Express Thirst for His Cold-Blooded Hotness

Mortal Kombat fans are going crazy over Reptile, the transforming ninja lizard man. From his human form to his cold-blooded lizard form, fans are not only attracted to his gorgeousness but also to his cold-bloodedness. So much so that the internet is abuzz with the trend of Reptile’s hotness.

“Reptile’s hot in both forms,” tweeted io9 writer and game developer Justin Carter. “I never thought I’d say this about a lizard man, but I’m into it.” YouTuber LOSTy, who makes videos on various fighting games, expresses surprise at finding Reptile attractive.

“I didn’t think I could stan Reptile, but damn,” they say in a video on Reptile’s design. Social media is filled with fans expressing their thirst for Reptile. NetherRealm’s decision to give the ninjas arm tattoos to differentiate them has been praised, with fans eagerly anticipating Reptile’s appearance in Mortal Kombat.

“On this day, we honour our lord and saviour…Reptile,” wrote illustrator Mila on Twitter. “Reptile, we wish you the best on your thirsty strap journey.” “I am completely in love with Reptile in both his human and reptilian forms,” says Ashy. “Everything about him is perfect, I want to cuddle him forever.”

“I love Reptile in both his human and reptilian forms,” says another. “I’m not even joking; the Argonian look is sexy AF.” “I’m actually shook,” says another fan, while yet another writes, “I’m not ready for all these Reptile thirst posts.” Some also find Reptile’s design sexy, with someone saying, “I thought the lizard form was quite sexy,” while another writes, “I’m shook that Reptile’s Argonian form is sexy.”

The Mortal Kombat dev and co-founder, Ed Boon, previously responded to a fan asking if Reptile would be “fit” in the upcoming game. “I don’t know,” Boon responded. “You’ll have to wait and see,” suggesting that perhaps NetherRealm were a little apprehensive about the immense appeal of Reptile.

Of course, Reptile isn’t the only character to receive a lot of attention on social media. The upcoming Soulcalibur 6 character, Talim, also caught the attention of many fans, with the fighter’s sex appeal becoming a concern for some.
