Terraria Necro Armor Set

Want to know how to get the Terraria Necro armor? If you prefer ranged combat, Necro armour will suit you well. The entire set is skeletal, so expect to look the part too. Before you get your hands on this spooky set, you’ll need to defeat Skeletron first.

Summoning Skeletron requires patience and a little luck. You’ll need to speak to a man outside the Dungeon at night. Be patient and keep speaking to him each night until he eventually tells you that Skeletron is ready to be defeated. Heading back to the Dungeon while Skeletron is prepared to fight will take a long time, so build a long platform above the Dungeon to help you avoid any obstacles. The Terraria Skeletron boss fight itself is fairly straightforward, and we’d recommend keeping your distance and focusing on defeating his hands first.

Terraria Necro Armor Set Ingredients

After defeating Skeletron, you’ll be free to explore the Dungeon. Gather the materials you need for the Terraria Necro armor set:

  • Cobwebs can be found underground, in caves, abandoned houses, and Spider Caves. Cobwebs are dropped by Spiders and can also be harvested with a Silktouch tool.
  • Bones drop from three types of monsters found in the Dungeon:

You can also obtain the Ancient Necro Helmet, a variant of the Necro Helmet, by farming bones. Transform the Ancient Necro Helmet back into the standard Necro Helmet by throwing it into Shimmer.
