AMD Starfield Graphics Card and CPU Bundle Auction
If you want to get your hands on one of AMD’s limited edition Starfield graphics card and CPU bundles, you’ll need to place a winning bid on an upcoming eBay auction. It’s not cheap, but all the proceeds will support Mental Drive Inc., a nonprofit organization promoting inclusivity, diversity, and mental health awareness.
Only 500 of these bundles were produced, primarily distributed to competition winners. The seller claims to have received theirs as a gift, but it doesn’t contain any accompanying paperwork or stickers. Therefore, it’s assumed to be a second-hand item, despite being new and unopened.
The current eBay listing has 26 bids, reaching a price of $2,025. The RX 7900 XTX typically sells for around $960, while the Ryzen 7 7800X3D costs approximately $400. Both components come in matching limited edition boxes, with visual highlights that complement the white graphics card.
The Radeon 7900 XTX looks stunning, with matching PCIe power cables that sit beneath the rainbow-themed shroud. On the inside, it’s the same as the regular chip, differing only in the box design. The CPU, meanwhile, is the same as any other 7800X3D, with the box artwork the only variation.
Together, these components create a powerful gaming PC for optimal performance in Starfield. AMD’s decision to optimize the game with their help has been met with controversy due to the lack of DLSS support. The company says Bethesda has the freedom to add DLSS to Starfield in the future, but it’s up to the game maker to make that happen.
