Final Fantasy 14 is coming to Xbox

and longtime PC players are thrilled. The crossplay will enable Xbox players to join the RPG game‘s community and enjoy one of the best MMORPGs in the genre‘s rich story, expansive world, and so much more.

Described by some as “the most perfect MMO ever made,” longtime players are happy to share their love for FF14 with new arrivals, and the free trial is an excellent way for newcomers to sample the game.

“FF14 has been a staple of the RPG genre for years, and it’s about to get a lot more accessible for players on Xbox One,” says writer Olivia Gordon. “Joining the FF14 community, Xbox players will have access to the game’s rich RPG experience, including its captivating story and the many hours of content on offer for both casual and hardcore players.”

Olivia goes on to say that the arrival of Stormblood, the second expansion, on the free trial is a welcome bonus. With crossplay enabled, all platforms can now play together, too, which will foster a really healthy, thriving, and inclusive community, as well as ensuring that everyone gets to experience the older content as well.

She adds, “FF14’s unique structure means that new players are never left behind, as constant new players join and players can experience older content through roulette bonuses.” This is reflected in the game’s constant updates and patches, too, so by the time the new expansion, Dawntrail, arrives, everyone will be on the same page.

Olivia explains, “FF14’s design ensures that players are never left behind. New players can easily catch up to the endgame within a short timeframe, as the game’s servers are unified, enabling seamless cross-platform play and progression.”

This means that you won’t have to worry about your Xbox friends being left behind as you play, either, as gelling together and embarking on those epic adventures is so easy in FF14. She adds, “FF14’s genre is firmly established as a massively multiplayer online role-playing game, and its success lies in its ability to cater to both solo players and those seeking multiplayer experiences in dungeons and raids.”

If you’re a veteran player, you’ll likely be happy to know that FF14’s design ensures that everyone is on the same page, no matter what level they’re at. Olivia says, “The level syncing feature enables higher-level players to join lower-level dungeons, fostering a cooperative environment where players of any level can join together.”

Not only that, but it’s also easy to find groups and camaraderie in FF14. She explains, “Whether playing on Xbox, PC, or PlayStation, players will find that the focus of FF14 is on cooperative gameplay, with the unique structure ensuring that solo adventurers can still experience older content while also offering players opportunities for group play and camaraderie.”

If you’re gearing up in FF14, you won’t be stuck doing a grind, either. Olivia says, “FF14’s unique structure means that players can easily catch up to the endgame within a short timeframe, as there is no need to spend hours farming for gear or grind for experience points.”

So, if you’re on the fence about whether to try FF14 on Xbox, or you’re already a veteran player, Olivia wraps up with, “With the arrival of FF14 on Xbox, players from all platforms can look forward to embarking on epic adventures together.”

Whether you’re new to FF14 or an old player, you’ll likely agree that it’s an excellent game, and one that seems to get better and better with each new platform that it arrives on.
