Final Fantasy 14 is coming to Xbox
Sending ripples of excitement through the MMORPG community, Final Fantasy 14 is heading to Xbox, expanding its player base in the process.
That’s the message from publisher Square Enix, which heralds the arrival of the hit Final Fantasy MMORPG on Microsoft’s platform as a “milestone” for the popular game.
“The world of Eorzea is about to grow even larger,” the Final Fantasy 14 team says in a new Xbox trailer. “Final Fantasy 14 is coming to Xbox.”
Final Fantasy 14 is indeed coming to Xbox. We’ve known this for a while, with Microsoft and Square Enix confirming the arrival of the game back in May. Final Fantasy 14: The Free Company Campaign is indeed coming to Xbox, with a closed beta and an open beta scheduled for next year, too.
But now Final Fantasy 14 is finally coming to Xbox, officially. The closed beta for Final Fantasy 14 on Xbox is set to begin in January 2020, with an open beta following later that year. The announcement trailer (below) also teases that the full Final Fantasy 14 release date will be coming to Xbox, too.
