Lorccana’s Amber/Amethyst Deck
Want to know the best Lorccana’s Amber/Amethyst deck? Much like the other Lorccana decks, we can see the influence of the starter deck in this one, as the Amber and Amethyst factions combine to make a high-value, aggressive deck.
The Lorccana’s Amber/Amethyst deck is one of the strongest right out of the box, and we’ve got three versions of upgrades to take it from a budget option to a competitive deck. We’ve tried to keep these budget deck suggestions fairly self-explanatory, but there are some more advanced concepts at work in the top-end deck for competitive play.
The Lorccana’s Amber/Amethyst starter deck is focused on being aggressive and drawing cards. The synergy between these two factions is perfect for this, with the aggressive playstyle of Amber pairs well with the card draw opportunities of Amethyst. We’ve broken down the three versions of the deck below, with the first two being strictly budget options, and the last one being more advanced or for those looking to play Lorccana at the competitive level.
Consistency, Aggression, and Card Draw
This version of the deck focuses on consistency, aggression, and card draw. We want to swap out some of the low-impact items and actions for more copies of impactful cards that help keep our hand full. Most of the changes are pretty self-explanatory, but we’ll run through some of the more nuanced changes.
Vanilla characters can be replaced with more impactful ones that aid in questing and protecting high-lore characters. This is especially true for Rapunzel, who can generate cards and flood the board, making it difficult for opponents to deal with.
The strategy remains the same: play cheap characters, quest aggressively, and utilise synergies to out-value opponents. The mid-cost deck leans heavily into the starter’s best synergies. Adding more copies of Mickey Mouse, Wayward Sorcerer, Moana, and Dr. Facilier enhances the deck’s strengths, while still avoiding some of the traps of higher-cost cards.
Top-Tier Aggressive Deck
The top-tier deck is one of the most aggressive decks in the meta, and the price tag to build it is definitely in the higher range. New tools like Rapunzel and Maximus add more card draw and protection while pushing the deck’s strengths even further. The Dr. Facilier package can be expanded on to ensure consistent use of Agent Provocateur.
Again, building this deck can be expensive due to the rarity of certain cards. Stitch, Rock Star is a high priority card that can be used in multiple aggro decks, but your local players should be able to give you an idea about the best Lorccana combo deck cards to focus on if you’re looking to complete a Lorccana collection.
