Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2: Officially Confirmed

The wait is finally over - Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is real. After months of leaks and rumors, the developers themselves have officially confirmed the sequel to one of the most popular crossover fighting games, confirming the inclusion of Squidward and Jimmy Neutron as fighters. The new trailer showcases several new features that will be included in the sequel, and we're here to break down the news and speculation surrounding the highly-anticipated fighting game.

The first game, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, was well-received by fans and critics alike, earning a "very positive" review from our own Ethan Gach. The game features a roster of popular Nickelodeon characters from various shows, allowing players to engage in multiplayer battles with their favorite characters from the likes of Hey Arnold!, Rugrats, and more.

The popularity of crossover fighters has only continued to grow in recent years, with games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Persona 5: Arena proving popular among fans of various series. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 aims to capitalize on this trend by expanding the roster and adding new features - and we've got the official confirmation right here.

First leaked in January, the initial leaks regarding Squidward and Jimmy Neutron's inclusion in the game were further substantiated by the confirmation of the former and the inclusion of El Tigre in the latter, lending credence to the rumors. Rather than let the cat (or crab) out of the bag themselves and risk spoiling the surprise, Ludosity and Fair Play Labs have instead decided to confirm the game themselves in order to get ahead of the leaks.

In the new trailer, we get a glimpse of several new features that will be included in the sequel - from the playable Nickelodeon character roster to team-based battle modes and the ability to use super moves. The most exciting reveal, however, is unquestionably the inclusion of Jimmy Neutron and Squidward as playable characters, fulfilling the requests of countless fans and making this the most desired crossover fighter of all time.

With the confirmation of new fighters and features, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is poised to be an exciting addition to the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl franchise - and we'll be sure to keep you updated with all the latest news and updates as they come in.
