Persona 3 Reload: A Potential Nintendo Switch Release

The latest Persona 3 Reload trailer raised hopes among fans as it appeared to list the Nintendo Switch as one of the platforms for the highly anticipated RPG game. However, the information regarding the Nintendo Switch release has since been removed, leaving gamers speculating about a potential leak. The official teaser, which still featured the mention of Nintendo Switch, caused surprise among fans since the first Persona 3 game was not released on this console. The trailer's original version, available before the revision, revealed Nintendo Switch alongside PlayStation 5, PlayStation 6, and PlayStation Portal as the supported platforms for Persona 3 Reload.

The revised version of the trailer, posted by Atlus, no longer references Nintendo Switch, leaving fans uncertain about its actual availability on the console. Despite this, UK retailer Game offers an option to pre-order "Persona 3 Reload - Nintendo Switch," priced at £64.99, with a release date listed as December 31, 2023. The legitimacy of this listing is unclear, as there has been no official confirmation regarding the release date or platforms for the game.

There is a growing belief among fans that Persona 3 Reloaded will indeed be released on the Nintendo Switch alongside the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 6. This notion gains credibility due to Moonlight Studios' history of porting Summon Night 6 and Lost Song to the portable console. Further fueling the speculation, Play Asia also had a pre-order page for the Nintendo Switch version of Persona 3 Reloaded, although it has since been taken down. As Atlus has yet to provide any official information, fans eagerly await further updates and clarification about the rumors.

It is worth noting the tumultuous journey of Persona 3 Reloaded since its initial leak. Studio Atlus inadvertently revealed the first trailer for the Persona 3 remake on their Instagram story, triggering immediate speculation about the game. Fans responded with overwhelming enthusiasm to the glimpses of the revamped Tartarus labyrinth, combat, and new Persona 5-inspired life sim elements.

Since the leak, Persona 3 Reloaded has been subjected to further leaks and rumors. The most recent leak suggests that the remake will not feature the music and dance elements from Persona 5. Screenshots highlighting various menus and system overviews have also circulated, adding to the excitement surrounding the updated game. As fans eagerly await more information, they hope that the midnight hour, metaphorically symbolizing Atlus' announcement, will bring answers - and perhaps the inclusion of the Nintendo Switch as a platform for Persona 3 Reloaded.
