A Skyrim cosplayer's Favorite Armor

One Skyrim cosplayer shares their favorite armor from the game, and it’s exactly the kind of Cosplay that is loved to be seen. The user, who goes by the username _b_tte_ on Reddit, reveals that their armor of choice comes from one of the Skyrim add-ons. It's a worthy choice and adds a unique touch to their cosplay.

In the original Reddit post, _b_tte_ mentions how they like the Nordic Carved Armor from Skyrim because it’s not “shiny.” It's refreshing to see a cosplayer who doesn't feel the need to have their cosplay be a mirror image of the in-game armor. Shiny armor is often overused, so this is a welcome change.

The user continues, mentioning how the armor is their “favorite from the game,” despite it being from an add-on. It turns out their favorite part is the armor’s “dirty” and “grey” appearance – something that stands out amongst the shiny imitations.

“I just really like how it looks dirty,” they explain. “I don’t know, it’s just cute.” They also mention how the addition of face paint is a nice touch.

Naturally, fellow Skyrim fans jump at the chance to comment on the armor. “I love that armor!” user 2 replies. They agree with the statement about the armor’s “grey tone” and also mention how it looks worn. “I love how the leather looks old and worn out,” they add.

Another user, user 3, also “loves” the armor and the first commenter’s comments. “I love this armor,” they write. “It’s my favorite from the game, too.”

Of course, the armor’s admirers request a side-by-side comparison of the cosplayer and their Skyrim character wearing the Dragonborn Armor. Check out some of our other favorite Skyrim cosplayers to see if you recognize any of them, and if not, take the time to appreciate their work.
