Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic the Hedgehog is back, but his new design has the internet divided. Some say it’s an AI-generated meme, others say it’s a well-done piece of fan art, and then there are those who are just happy to see the blue blur back in the limelight. It’s enough to make your head spin, but one thing’s for sure – the internet is never short of an opinion.
Some people find the new design to be a little cartoonish, filled with random elements that don’t quite gel. Personally, I find the well-done eyes on Sonic to be the highlight, but the complete absence of his iconic rings is a point of contention. What would happen if you cut him open? Do the rings indicate his age?
Others are more than happy to see Sonic back in the spotlight, and there’s even a mention of a character called Scourge the Hedge. Sonic the Hedgehog, you see, not Hedgehog – the space is important. Also, I had no idea there was a character named Chronic the Hemphog, or that Hemphog was even a word. And someone’s just gotta say “hog”, right?
This poster is a “sonic the hedge bogart” for sharing it, but it’s too funny not to share ourselves. If you like the idea of a play on words, then the grass may be “sonic” on the other side, if you get what I mean.
